The Unmade Call

Not making a call sometimes
Takes more effort than calling;
Takes more time too and it
Definitely takes more thought.

But it is not something that is appreciated.
Nobody ever says: “thanks for not calling.”
You never hear: “It was so nice of you not to call;
And what a coincidence - right when I wasn’t thinking of you.”
