Big Frank put on his snowshoes today and went into the ponderosa pines in search of some good photos. He was wielding his new digital camera that was so kindly presented to him by his brother, Dan. So these shots are for you, Dan. Of course, Big Frank remembers the last time that he posted shots of ponderosa pines (taken while on a jog). At that time Dan then posted comments to the effect that it was - I think the phrase was "less than exciting." So Big Frank waited and waited until the snow came in such quantities that it would completely change the way these ponderosa pines look, and then trudging through the snow (yeah, he sank in a bit - well 10 inches at least) he captured these shots.
